Illinois’ 47th District State Senator has issues with Governor Pritzker’s plan to reopen Illinois.

Senator Jil Tracy of Quincy says the Governor’s plan is too little too late and could mean the closing of many small businesses in west central Illinois.

Tracy says the decisions made by the governor have come with little legislative input, and J.B. Pritzker’s one-size-fits-all approach has been unfairly applied to areas that don’t need the same restrictions as hot spots such as Chicago.

Tracy says it is time for lawmakers to return to Springfield and be allowed to have a say in important decisions that are currently being made only by the governor.
