(Rushville, Ill)-- A Rushville icon is one of two men inducted into the Illinois Senior Hall of Fame.

88 year-old Russell Dohner has been practicing medicine in Rushville since 1955.  Dohner still makes house calls and his standard fee is $5 per visit.

He served as parade Grand Marshal at the 2013 Illinois State Fair.

The other inductee is 85 year-old Philip Carlin of Chicago who was honored for his contributions in the field of education.  Carlin worked 22 years in Chicago Public Schools and spent 25 years at Loyola University.

Both men served their country in World War II.

Since 1994, ninety-one people have been inducted into the Senior Hall of Fame in Illinois.
