A busy Hannibal street was blocked for nearly an hour after a rollover crash around 1 p.m. today. Hannibal Police and Fire as well as MoDOT personnel responded to the scene at the foot of the 3rd Street viaduct.

An unconfirmed report from a witness at the scene says the driver turned south onto 3rd Street from Church Street and struck the corner of the viaduct, causing the car to overturn.

A Hannibal police officer on the scene confirmed one person was taken to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Third Street reopened to traffic around 1:45 p.m.
