Rescue Operation Successful at Siloam Springs State Park

No injuries are reported after a group kayaking on McKee Creek in Siloam Springs State Park lost their way in the darkness.

Adams County Sheriff Brent Fisher says his agency along with Camp Point Police responded to the call for help around 10 p.m. Friday.

Search and Rescue teams from Adams, Brown and Pike counties converged on the park located near Clayton.  Rescuers located four adults and one small child at approximately 3:30 a.m. Saturday.  All were returned safely to their vehicles.
