Randall Shepard Court Appearance

(PALMYRA)—A former Palmyra High School teacher and assistant football coach is scheduled for arraignment April 16th on charges related to improper sexual contact with a student. 40 year old Randy Shepard waived his right to a preliminary hearing in a court appearance Monday. Shepard faces charges of second degree statutory rape… second degree statutory sodomy and sexual contact with a student by a teacher. Shepard remains in the Marion County Jail on 100-thousand dollars bond. He was placed on administrative leave in January after allegations were brought to the attention of the school district. Shepard was dismissed in February.
