Quincy’s What’s Legal and What’s Not Legal Fireworks List

For years I have heard that fireworks are illegal in the city limits of Quincy, but that is not a true statement. Some fireworks are legal and others aren't.

To clear it up, here is the list of fireworks that are legal in Quincy's city limits.

• Snakes
• Smoke Bombs
• Sparklers
• Party Poppers
• Snappers

The fireworks that are NOT legal are

• Firecrackers
• Bottle rockets
• Cones
• Roman candles
• Sky lanterns/aerial luminaries

Anyone violating the state statute or city ordinance concerning fireworks is subject to a citation and fine.
