It seems like it was just yesterday that we were sharing the news of the City of Quincy postponing and eventually cancelling their 2020 fireworks display due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Well that is last year and we have exciting news to share as this year the City of Quincy has plenty of opportunities to see fireworks to celebrate 4th of July.

The City of Quincy posted on their Facebook page today their Official Fireworks schedule for the 2021 4th of July, to see the post click here! According to the post there will be four official chances to see fireworks in the city of Quincy, first chance will be Friday, July 2nd at QU stadium, their will be two chances to see fireworks on Saturday July 3rd, one chance at QU stadium and the other at the Quincy Country Club. With the final official chance being on Sunday, July 4th at Quinsippi Island.

Personally I think it is great that there are this many chances to see fireworks this 4th of July holiday weekend, you could catch some at one of the Quincy Gems games at QU stadium and still see some more on Sunday along the Riverfront, mix and match the events as you please. However you are planning on spending the big 4th of July holiday just remember to be safe when handling fireworks, and other celebratory devices, and to never drink and drive!
