A Quincy woman is dead and a Quincy man is charged as a result of a traffic crash at 18th and Oak in Quincy just after 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Quincy Police report a westbound car driven by 68 year old David Emerick struck a southbound car driven by 54 year old Deborah Howell of Quincy.

Howell was pronounced dead at the scene by Adams County Coroner Scott Graham.

Emerick was cited for failure to yield at a stop/yield intersection.
The investigation into the fatal crash continues.
