Quincy Truck Driver Escapes Injury in Warren County Crash

A truck driver from Quincy escapes injury in a two vehicle crash at the intersection of Highways 67 and 135 in Warren County north of Monmouth at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday.

The Illinois State Police reports 22-year-old Kelly Hobert of Aledo was eastbound when she ran the stop sign and struck a semi driven by 28-year-old Michael Johnson of Quincy.

Hobert and her passenger, 25-year-old Zakary Lower, also of Aledo, were taken to Monmouth Hospital for treatment.

Hobert was ticketed for DUI, disobeying a traffic control device and no insurance.
