Quincy Police Warn About Ameren Scam

Quincy Police have received several calls this morning regarding a phone scam surrounding "delinquent gas/electric payments". The caller claims to be from Ameren. Be advised, this IS a scam.

If you receive such a phone call, QPD asks that you hang up immediately. You can make an official report with the Better Business Bureau at www.bbb.org/scamtracker/us.
