Quincy Police Arrest Two on Weapons Related Charges

A report of people walking around a Quincy neighborhood with firearms early Saturday morning results in two arrests.

Quincy Police were called to the 600 block of Meadowlark Drive at 4:54 Saturday morning. Officers located 36 year old James Blackburn hiding behind a residence in the area. He was in possession of a loaded AR-15. Blackburn is a convicted felon. Blackburn was taken to the Adams County Jail on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon and ammunition by a felon… possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance. The investigation also results in the arrest of 40 year old Jenna Miller of Barry for unlawful delivery of firearms to a felon… possession of a firearm without a FOID card and theft over 500 dollars. Miller was also taken to the Adams County Jail. Police also recovered two pistols related to this incident.
