Quincy Notre Dame Reports First Student COVID Case
Quincy Notre Dame has reported its first positive COVID-19 case.
Administrators say there is also one possible COVID case at QND.
As a result of contract tracing, 20 QND students are currently in quarantine. They will be able to return to class September 28th.
In other coronavirus news, the Pike County, Illinois Health Department reports three new confirmed cases – two females in her 40s to 50s and one male in his 50s.
The Pike County COVID total is now 105, with 16 active cases.
There are two new lab-confirmed coronavirus cases in Hancock County – a male in his 30s to 40s and one female under the age of ten. Both are recovering at home and are connected to other positive cases.
The Hancock County COVID total is 187, with 25 active cases, 159 recoveries and three deaths.
And, the Lewis County Health Department reported one new coronavirus case Thursday, an individual age 50 to 60.
The Lewis County total COVID cases is now 115, with 20 active, 90 recovered and five deaths.
