Quincy Man Charged with Making a Terrorist Threat
A Quincy man has been charged with making a terrorist threat.
According to Adams County State’s Attorney Gary Farha, the charges were filed Friday against Richard Hood.
Farha says that after a court proceeding on other pending charges Wednesday, Hood is alleged to have made statements overheard by courthouse personnel and staff constituting threats of harm to the community.
A brief investigation by Adams County Sheriff’s deputies resulted in Hood’s arrest.
Hood is in the Adams County Jail on $1 million bond.
