Quincy Man Arrested on Domestic Battery Charges

A Quincy man is in the Adams County Jail on domestic battery charges.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a woman walking along Gardner Expressway at Laaker Road in Quincy at 9:51 a.m. Saturday.

The woman told deputies she had been injured by her boyfriend.

Taken into custody was 40 year old John Matlick. Two children in the home were placed with grandparents.
