A Quincy man faces several charges following two robbery reports Monday morning.

Quincy Police say 18 year old Diamanthe McGruder is charged with residential burglary… possession of stolen firearms.. unlawful use of a weapon… resisting a peace officer and possession of marijuana. McGruder was also wanted on failure to appear warrants. Police say the arrest follows a report from a Quincy woman that she was robbed by several black males near 7th and Vermont at 1:19 Monday morning and indicating that a maroon van was involved in the incident. Police noticed a van matching the description leaving the Blessing Hospital emergency room about 30 minutes later. McGruder and two 17 year old males were taken into custody. A 16 year old male juvenile fled the traffic stop but he was apprehended after a short foot pursuit. Another male ran off and is still at large. Police say weapons taken from a residence in the 900 block of North 50th were also located in the vehicle. The investigation continues.
