Quincy Garage Fire Starts Meth Investigation

A late night fire at a garage in the northwest part of Quincy results in an investigation into a possible meth lab.

Quincy firefighters were called to 1618 North Second at 12:30 Saturday morning where a bus and garage were engulfed in flames. When the fire was extinguished, firefighters called Quincy Police to the scene when they discovered possible meth making materials.

Police say an individual was located a short time later on Scenic Drive with severe burns to his hands. Police say the investigation continues.
