According to a study published by The Huffington Post, Quincy is the perfect place to live in Illinois for baby boomers.

The list includes a city in each state that meets certain criteria like sense of community, proximity to services, activities, environment and others, and identifies each city as that particular states most desired location for people in the baby boomer age group. It calls the cities on the list "places that baby boomers never want to leave."

While Quincy is "the" city in Illinois, Mehlville was chosen in Missouri. In Iowa, Burlington makes the list.

Interestingly enough there are only 2 "major" cities to be found: Nashville, Tennessee and Washington D.C., but lets face it, that one is kind of like cheating.

Congratulation to Quincy! A great place to live for boomers, and just about anyone else.
