Public Defender Appointed for Gavin Masters
A Quincy man was in court Friday morning in connection with an incident that resulted in the death of one man and the wounding of another.
A public defender was appointed for 18-year-old Gavin Masters, who is charged with first degree murder in the death last Saturday of 21-year-old Randy Bowser-Smith and with attempted murder in the shooting of 21-year-old Skyler Osborne.
Masters is alleged to have shot the two men in an incident at 635 College Avenue at 8:35 p.m. on July 4.
Masters’ next court date is July 14.
