Probation for Coin Thief

(BOWLING GREEN)--A Troy woman has pleaded guilty to stealing a 25 hundred dollar gold coin from a former boyfriend. 20 year-old Breonna Cockrell is sentenced to five years of probation and ordered to pay restitution.

Cockrell took a 1908 Saint Gaudens gold coin from a Bowling Green man who was her boyfriend at the time. The man told police he kept the coin in a lockbox and that the suspect was the only person who had seen it and had access to it before the coin turned up missing.
