Probable Cause Found for Jacob Wilson to Stand Trial for Bank Robbery
Probable cause was found Monday for a Hannibal man to stand trial for bank robbery.
At a preliminary hearing Monday in Marion County Circuit Court, Judge John Jackson set an arraignment hearing for October 5 for 30-year-old Jacob Wilson.
Wilson is alleged to have robbed RCS Bank on Veterans’ Road in Hannibal around midday August 5th.
Wilson allegedly entered the bank and presented a note to the teller demanding money. The note indicated Wilson had a gun, but no gun was shown. Wilson left the bank with over $11,000 in cash.
Wilson was taken into custody at his home without incident the next day.
Wilson remains in the Marion County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
