A Quincy man pleads guilty Wednesday to burglary charges.

18 year old James Phillips pleaded guilty to residential burglary in connection with an incident at a residence at 900 Locust last July.

Phillips and 23 year old Chadwick Kelly are alleged to have entered the home, threatened the residents and taken a number of items from the home.

The two fled the scene, resulting in a manhunt on the grounds of the Illinois Veterans Home. Phillips was arrested the next day in Quincy. Kelly was apprehended four days later in Tennessee.

Phillips faces a sentencing hearing December 12th.
