Pedestrian Hit by Car on Broadway in Hannibal Friday

Hannibal Police are investigating a car versus pedestrian mishap that occurred in the noon hour Friday.

Officers were called to the 800 block of Broadway at 12:13 p.m. Friday on a traffic crash involving a pedestrian.

Officers found that an 87 year old Hannibal man was walking south across Broadway when he was struck by an eastbound car driven by a 73 year old Hannibal woman.

Both the pedestrian and the driver were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.

HPD was assisted at the scene by the Hannibal Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance.
