It  was a very slow start for the Palmyra offense. Caleb Kizer's three with less than a second remaining in the first quarter was the first made field goal on the night, but the  Panthers stayed ice cold from the field throughout the first half. Palmyra trailed by 15 late in the second quarter and again at halftime before rallying.
