Palmyra Firefighters Called for Smoke in a Factory
Overheated equipment meant a call to Continental Castings for Palmyra firefighters Monday night.
Firefighters say workers were making parts on a magnesium machine at the business when its under-layer overheated. Crews used extinguishers to cool the equipment. Exhaust fans were used to clear smoke from the building. No injuries are reported.
