A large crowd gathered in Washington Park in Quincy Saturday to protest Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker’s stay at home order.

The Open Adams County Now rally was organized by the Quincy Tea Party group to show their displeasure with Pritzker’s directive that all non-essential businesses remain closed in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Tea Party officials say they have been in touch with attorneys and raising money for legal proceedings against the governor’s order.
