With one week to go, the Salvation Army Christmas campaigns in Hannibal and Quincy appear to be well on their way to reaching their 2019 goals.

Salvation Army officials report Tuesday that so far, the Quincy campaign has raised $256,000, over 60 percent of its $410,000 goal.

Meanwhile, in Hannibal, they are 70 percent of the way to their goal, so far raising $77,500 of its goal of $110,000.

Money raised during the Christmas campaign helps provide Christmas food baskets and toys for kids, along with supporting social services programs and other services throughout the year.

The final day of the kettle campaign is Christmas Eve.

Along with the kettles, you can donate by stopping by the Salvation Army in Quincy, or by texting DONATEQUINCY or DONATEHANNIBAL to 24365.
