One Hurt, Two Ticketed in Car-Motorcycle Crash

A Hannibal man suffers serious injuries as the result of a car-motorcycle crash at the intersection of Highway 57 and South 12th Street in Quincy at 7:02 p.m. Friday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 30 year old Joshua Sibbing of Quincy turned south from South 12th onto Highway 57, failed to yield and was struck by a northbound motorcycle, operated by 31 year old Daniel Shiflett of Hannibal.

Shiflett was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

Sibbling was ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign. Shiflett was cited for operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended license.
