One Arrest Follows Fire at 1425 Broadway in Quincy

Fire late Thursday evening damages a four unit apartment house at 1425 Broadway in Quincy.

No injuries are reported. Three of the four units were occupied. The alarm came in around 11:30 p.m.  Investigation into the fire has been turned over to the Quincy Police Department.

Quincy Police say a resident of that address, 21-year-old Braden Barnes, was arrested for criminal trespass to a residence and criminal damage to property from an incident in the 14-hundred block of Vermont. Barnes was taken to the Adams County Jail.

The investigation continues.
