One Arrest Following Quincy Home Invasion and Manhunt

One of two men wanted following a home invasion and manhunt in northwest Quincy is in custody.

18-year-old James Phillips made a court appearance on burglary and home invasion charges Wednesday. Bond is set at 75-thousand dollars cash only.

Quincy Police say the home invasion at 9th and Locust was not random. A second arrest has not been announced at this time. The suspects were described as 18 to 22 years old.  The suspects were the target of an unsuccessful manhunt on the Illinois Veterans Home grounds.
