Construction has begun on a $400 Million Theme Park in Missouri

This new theme park and resort will hopefully be completely done with construction in 2026. Where is it going, and what can you expect from it? Here are the details you need to know...

According to an article from komu.com, the brand new Lake of the Ozarks theme park and resort called Oasis at Lakeport officially broke ground on construction this past week! Apparently, the goal is to have the theme park open first sometime in 2025, and then the resort part of the property will be completed by the end of 2026.

What can you expect from the Oasis at Lakeport? In the article, they say "...an 11-ride theme park with a climate-controlled 200-foot-tall Ferris wheel...Other plans include an indoor waterpark with a retractable roof, an amphitheater, and 200 new public boat slips...The attractions that Oasis at Lakeport offers are designed to appeal to ages “8 to 88,” The article goes on to say they expect the the Oasis at Lakeport will bring roughly 350 jobs to the Lake of the Ozarks area, for more details, click here!

It definitely looks like the Ferris Wheel is going to be the main attraction, that and the waterpark. But I love this for the Lake of the Ozarks, the lake is great for adults with places like the 4 Seasons, Margaritaville, and others, but this is geared directly for families and kids. So if you want to bring the family down to the lake and the kids are tired of just going boating, this will be a go-to spot for families when it opens.
