New Years Night Fire in Hannibal

Fire late Monday night heavily damages a house at 608 North Hawkins in Hannibal.
The alarm came in around 10 p-m. Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from the front and roof of the house. Flames were knocked down in ten minutes. A mother and her child were home at the time of the fire. They escaped unharmed. Cause of the fire is unknown at this time. An investigation is underway.
