New Coronavirus Cases in Marion, Lewis & Hancock Counties
The Marion County Health Department reported 15 new positive cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
The new cases include eight females ages 20 to 90 and seven males ages 30 to 90. Of those cases, ten are at home, four are in nursing homes and one is hospitalized.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Marion County is now 272. 102 cases are active, seven are hospitalized, 165 have recovered and five have died.
Health department officials in Lewis County reported six additional cases of coronavirus Thursday.
The age range among the latest confirmed cases runs from 10 to over 100.
There have now been 56 COVID cases in Lewis County. 16 are active, 38 have recovered and there have been two deaths.
In Hancock County, health department and hospital officials reported six new lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 Thursday.
The newest cases include five females, ages zero to 80s and one male in his 50s to 60s.
Four cases are related to other known positive cases. All six are recovering at home.
The total COVID cases in Hancock County is now 77, with 40 recoveries and one death.
