National Tom Sawyer Days Pet Show Results

National Tom Sawyer Days activities began with the 47th annual Pet Show Wednesday afternoon in Central Park.

Among the prize winners:

Best dog was Rocko, a mini Australian Shepherd owned by Aiden Donath and Payton Christner of Rensselaer.

Best cat was a black cat owned by Shiloh Allen.

Most unusual pet was Cora Schuenke’s three-legged hedgehog, Spike.

Best pet trick went to Brennen Underhill of Canton’s beagle mix Cooper.

Best dressed was Hailyn Bainter’s dog, Jasper.

Best Tom and Becky among the pets were Eleana Bainter of Philadelphia’s pit bull mix, Sebastian and Korby Asbury’s golden doodle, Kasey.
