Mother Files Suit Against Chaddock Over Daughter’s Sexual Assault

The adoptive mother of a former Chaddock resident has filed a lawsuit against the facility.

Attorneys for Kim Jansen filed the suit Wednesday in U.S. District Court.

The suit alleges that Jansen’s 15 year old daughter and two other girls snuck out of Chaddock on August 26th, 2017. The three ended up at a residence in the 400 block of Spruce Street, where the suit alleges that Jansen’s daughter was sexually assaulted.

Officials with Chaddock released a statement Wednesday, denying the allegations.
