The Marion County Health Department reported seven new positive cases of COVID-19 Tuesday.

The latest cases include three males, ages 60 to 80 and four females, ages 20 to 90. One of the females is hospitalized, the other cases are quarantined at home.

This brings the total number of coronavirus cases in Marion County to 236. Of those cases, 74 are active, seven are hospitalized, 157 have recovered and five have died.

 

The Hancock County Health Department and Memorial Hospital in Carthage Tuesday received word of three additional laboratory-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19.

The latest cases include a male in his 60s to 70s and two females in their 50s to 70s.

All are related to other known COVID cases. All are recovering at home.

The total number of coronavirus cases in Hancock County now stands at 65. There have been 37 recoveries and one death.
