More Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in Marion, Lewis Counties
The latest surge in COVID-19 cases in northeast Missouri continues.
The Marion County Health Department reported 18 new positive cases of coronavirus Monday.
The cases include seven males between the ages of 10 and 80 and eleven females between the ages of 10 and 60. One of the new cases is hospitalized, the others are quarantined at home.
Tracing shows the latest cases come from community transmission.
That brings the total number of cases in Marion County to 97, 90 of which are active.
Meanwhile, the Lewis County Health Department has confirmed four new positive COVID cases there, between the ages of 20 and 50.
The cases are non-travel related and the individuals have been asked to self-isolate.
The total number of coronavirus cases in Lewis County now stands at 17.
