The final shindig of the season happens Friday night.

The Hannibal History Museum hosts the St. Patrick's Day edition of "Molly's Irish Shindig," beginning at 7 p.m. at the museum at 200 North Main in downtown Hannibal. There will be music by the Rag Tag Irish Band and food as well. Officially, admission is free, but a $10 donation to the museum is recommended.

Also this weekend, the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program hosts a March Madness Trivia Night Saturday night at the Hannibal Knights of Columbus. Doors open at 5:30, trivia at 7 p.m.

During our weekly "Hannibal Rivertown Review" with Megan Rapp of the Hannibal Convention and Visitors Bureau, we talked about the local CVB's role in the Hannibal tourism community. Megan told us that their job is to promote Hannibal as a tourist destination in an area that begins at a 50 mile radius from Hannibal, and extends outward from there.
