MODOT Examines Safety at US 61 Intersection Near New London

Missouri Department of Transportation officials want input on how to improve the US 61/Route A intersection in Ralls County.

A citizens advisory group meets this Friday morning at 9 a-m in New London City Hall. MODOT says a safety audit along US 61 indicates that area is a high priority location in 17 northeast Missouri counties. Safety audit information and various options to improve the US 61/Route A intersection are on the agenda. A second meeting will be scheduled if necessary to compare options and select the best choice as funding becomes available.
