MODOT Closes Clark County Roadside Park

The Missouri Department of Transportation is closing a Clark County roadside park to the public.

In a press release, MODOT announces they are putting up barricades at the entrances to Mound Park south of Wayland this week.

MODOT sites health and safety concerns for its employees as the reason for the closing.

Area Engineer Amy Crawford says MODOT cannot continue to expose its employees to cleaning up human waste in Mound Park.
