Check the Water Bottles – Missouri Suddenly Part of Urgent Recall

When you see someone in Missouri with a water bottle, this is one of the more common brands you'll see. That's why it's important to check your water bottle supply now as Missouri is now suddenly included in an ever-expanding urgent recall due to contamination.

The bulletin shared by Food Safety News explains that a water bottle recall from a popular brand now includes Missouri. They say that the very popular Fiji water bottles have had lots with high levels of manganese and 3 other bacteria that the CDC says can cause nervous systems and even brain damage with extreme levels.

This is the bottle to look for. Specifically, it's the 500 ml bottles that are sometimes sold in a 24-pack.

The original recall began in March, but it's now believed these lots were sold in Missouri also which is why the bulletin has been extended.

If you have these specific bottles, do not drink them. Instead, return them to the point of purchase or throw them away.
