Missouri Program Offers Help to Animal Rescue Groups

Missouri Agriculture Director Jon Hagler is promoting a state program that gives grants to groups that provide spay and neutering services for animals. The program has provided shelters and animal rescue groups with more than $100,000 since it began in 2009. Hagler says the public is more concerned these days about animal welfare.
