Missouri Municipal Election Delayed to June 2nd

Missouri’s April 7^th municipal elections are postponed to June 2^nd. Governor Mike Parson signed an executive order this (WE) morning ordering the change. The move is part of a statewide response to limit potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The executive order declares that ballots already printed for the April 7^th election may be used June 2^nd. Voters who turned 18 by April 7^th will be allowed to cast a ballot. Registration closure date for this election remains March 11^th and the deadline to file as a write-in candidate remains on March 27^th. A public test of voting equipment shall be completed no later than June 1^st.  Military and overseas voters must request a ballot from the election authority by 5 p-m May 29^th. Those ballots must be received by June 5^th.
