Missouri’s April 7th municipal elections are postponed to June 2nd. Governor Mike Parson signed an executive order this (WE) morning ordering the change. The move is part of a statewide response to limit potential exposure to the COVID-19 virus. The executive order declares that ballots already printed for the April 7th election may be used June 2nd. Voters who turned 18 by April 7th will be allowed to cast a ballot. Registration closure date for this election remains March 11th and the deadline to file as a write-in candidate remains on March 27th. A public test of voting equipment shall be completed no later than June 1st.  Military and overseas voters must request a ballot from the election authority by 5 p-m May 29th. Those ballots must be received by June 5th.
