The problem in Missouri isn't only on the roads. The Memorial Day Weekend is the unofficial beginning of the boating season and least year there were no less than 10 boating crashes during that holiday weekend.

There were multitudes of boating accidents in Missouri over the previous Memorial Day Weekend, too.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol also says the problems on the roads and water last Memorial Day Weekend saw "troopers made 137 driving while intoxicated and eight boating while intoxicated arrests". They advise the everyone check the Missouri road conditions and say something if they see something wrong. They say that anyone can call their Highway Patrol's Emergency Assistance number 1-800-525-5555 (or *55 on a cellular phone).
