Missouri Man Wanted in Quincy for Home Repair Fraud

Quincy Police say a Missouri man is wanted in Quincy on aggravated home repair fraud charges.
Police are looking for 41 year old Torrey Rickey. His last known address is in Carthage Missouri. Police say they were notified by a local bank of suspicious transactions from a senior citizen’s account in which several thousand dollars were paid to an individual for remodeling. Police went to the seniors residence and spoke to them. The victim indicated the suspect came to the door and said he was there to do an inspection and that several thousand dollars worth of repairs were needed in the attic. Police found that virtually no work was completed even though the victim was told that work was completed. The investigation identified Rickey as the suspect. Police say Rickey is wanted in several counties across Missouri… Illinois and Kansas.   Police believe Rickey may be in the area with ties to Hannibal and is driving a gray or light colored GMC truck with Missouri licence plate OEB 828.
