Missing Monroe County Teen Found Safe

A Monroe County teenager who had been reported missing earlier in the week has been found safe.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department reports that 17 year old Alyssah Thomas was last seen Monday night and was reported missing Tuesday.

Deputies reported on the department’s Facebook page Wednesday afternoon that Thomas had been found safe and in good health.

It had been originally reported that Thomas may have tried to travel to neighboring counties where she has friends and family.
