New York State Man Arrested on Charges in Monroe County
A man from New York State is in the Monroe County Jail on a variety of charges.
Early Friday morning, a Missouri State Highway Patrol trooper responded to a report of a suspicious man walking along the road near the Madison Cemetery.
An investigation by the Highway Patrol and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the man, identified as 25 year old Dean Nohle of Bloomfield, New York, had allegedly stolen a car in Madison and a second car in Pontoon Beach, Illinois.
Nohle is also alleged to have shoplifted from the local Dollar General Store.
Nohle was charged Friday with felony tampering with a motor vehicle and stealing a vehicle, along with misdemeanor stealing, driving while revoked or suspended and trespassing.
Nohle is in the Monroe County Jail on $30,000 bond.
