Miller Pleads Not Guilty to McDonald’s Robbery

A Quincy man pleads not guilty Tuesday to the robbery of a McDonald’s restaurant in Adams County Circuit Court.

29 year old Joseph Miller pleaded not guilty to robbery and aggravated robbery in connection with the robbery of the McDonald’s at 1301 Broadway September 25th.

Miller is alleged to have entered the restaurant, demanded money, implied he had a gun, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and ran.

Miller’s case was put on the December jury trial docket. He remains in the Adams County Jail on $100,000 bond.

Meanwhile, 30 year old Valerie Thompson, charged with helping Miller before and after the robbery, will be arraigned on robbery charges October 31st. She is free on bond.
