A Ralls County man reported missing Sunday is recovering from exposure following his rescue Wednesday afternoon.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the 38 year old man was believed to be in southeastern Ralls County and a highway patrol helicopter was brought in to aid in the search. The man was located around 3 p-m Wednesday a short distance from his vehicle west of Frankford near Spencer’s Creek in an extremely remote area. A second helicopter was brought in to lift the man to a safe location where emergency crews were waiting. The unidentified man was taken to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
