Mendon Woman Dies Following East Central MO Crash

A Mendon woman is dead following a crash late Sunday morning on Missouri 19 in Montgomery County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says the crash claimed the life of 83 year old Doris Durk. She was a passenger in a van driven by 61 year old Donna Rise of Mendon when the vehicle went out of control on the snow covered highway and struck an SUV driven by an Auxvasse woman. Rise was not injured. Three passengers in the van—16 year old Katana Banks… 83 year old Donald Durk and 16 year old Kayzoe Wolf were taken to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
