Mendon Officials Know Who Vandalized Park Restrooms

Officials in Mendon say they know who vandalized the restrooms in the village park over the weekend.

On the Village of Mendon’s Facebook page, it was reported Saturday that words had been written on all four sides of its newly painted restrooms.

The village had recently spent over $7,000 painting restrooms, along with shelter houses, the basketball area and playground equipment.

Then, on Sunday, there was another Facebook post that surveillance cameras in the park had revealed who vandalized the restrooms.

The second post said the damage was done by two younger girls in broad daylight, and that the girls would be getting a visit by police.

One more thing … the vandals reportedly wrote on the wall directly below a sign notifying them that they were on camera.
